Welcome to this week’s edition of The Digest for Fairfield County Marketing & Media Pros.

We have exciting updates to local job listings. Major agencies, media companies, and brands are hiring senior leadership roles right here in Fairfield County. And the state is getting involved.

Did you know that Connecticut has a venture capital group?

Connecticut Innovations is the leading source of financing and ongoing support for innovative, growing companies in the state. They even have local roots. Alison Malloy, Managing Director of Investments, is based in Stamford.

Connecticut Innovations posted a Senior Manager/Director, Marketing role at Perosphere Technologies, based in Danbury. The VC group plays an active role in hiring for 200+ portfolio companies. Good one to watch if you’re looking for venture-backed startups.

Also in Danbury, Mars United Commerce is hiring two senior client leadership roles. The Publicis agency is looking for CPG experts with shopper marketing experience. Check out the listings below if that’s you.
